My Story
Hello, I am Danielle Dixon and I’d like to tell you a little about myself.....
My family fell in love with Scentsy in 2013. Finally, there was a safe way for me to enjoy fragrance in my home without having to worry about setting something on fire! I became a consultant because let's face it, I bought enough on my own as if I was already selling it. So I sold to my self :)
So I became a Scentsy Consultant in February of 2013. At first, I had no intention of running this as a business but I fell in love the more I learned about Scentsy as well as Heidi and Orville. I loved sharing what I learned about all of this that I then became a sponsor and started my own team in September 2013. I started off the second year of my business as a Lead Consultant (3 promotion levels) and a team of 3 beside me. I say beside me because we are together as a family.
I joined & stayed with Scentsy for many reasons and over the years they change. At first, it was just for my own items. Then, so I had adult interaction. Also, so I could stay home and take care of my children. But, now it is because Scentsy has changed my life in so many ways I cannot imagine my life without it. I’m more confident, have overcome my depression, am friendlier to others, & love meeting new people now. I control my own life and have so much LESS stress. Scentsy instantly became a passion for me.
In May 2015 my little family packed up and moved across the country to our permanent home now in Pennsylvania. Most would see this as a sad thing having to start all over again in your business but I see this as a good thing, I get to share my LOVE of Scentsy with a whole new area and greet more people to my ever-growing family team.
Since relocating I have finally hit my goal with my business, to achieve Director status. At one point in time, my goal was to make Scentsy my full-time passion and to create a life from it. Like I said before your reasons for staying change over time. I love the journey Scentsy has provided me, that happy place it created that I had been missing for so many years, new friends and family bonds. It has now been 8 amazing years since I have partnered with Scentsy.
Starting out, I would have never thought that this company would have fulfilled so many other needs in my life other than income.
